Neverland

前几天的台版图书展，有推荐图书一项，可以填单子建议图书馆选购，感觉很贴心。但是由于可选范围有限，加上填单时随意性比较大，所以我就想，是不是能提供一份更有价值的书单供图书馆老师参考呢？

想到ABBS上的Nomad书单，补充了几个我觉得不错的书，提供给图书馆了，也留在这里自己参考。里面列出的书以目前国外常见英文书为主。

建筑系学生参考书单

A. 基本文献集
1. Ulrich Conrads, ed. Programmes and manifestoes on 20th-century architecture translated [from the German] by Michael Bullock.
2. Joan Ockman & Edward Eigen, eds., Architecture culture, 1943-1968: a documentary anthology
3. K. Michael Hays, ed., Architecture Theory since 1968
4. Kate Nesbitt, ed. Theorizing a new agenda for architecture: an anthology of architectural theory 1965-1995. 1996.
以上四本收集的是关于20世纪建筑的基本文献。Conrads收集现代大师的文章，而Ockman/Eigen及Hays的文集是姐妹作。
5. Neil Leach, ed., Rethinking Architecture收集西方哲学家论建筑的文章
6. K. Michael Hays, ed., Oppositions Reader收集了70年代的那个著名期刊里面的一些东西。

B. 基本参考工具

1. Jane Turner, ed. The dictionary of art. 1996. 这是建筑学和艺术史最重要的工具书。有网络版(内容不时更新)，学校跟出版社订购后，整个校园网都可以检索这个网路版了。关于建筑的内容：共5百万英文字。行文比较通俗，条目后面附有参考文献。
2. Avery Index of Architectural Periodicals. 哥伦比亚大学建筑图书馆编，以前是印刷出版，现在是网络版。学校跟出版社订购后，整个校园网都可以检索这个网路版了。全世界最重要的建筑期刊每期的内容，都可以用这个索引检索。还有一个好处：索引告诉我们每一篇论文里面的图片类型。如果要知道那个杂志有Kunsthal Rotterdam的剖面图，翻一下就找到了。
3. Architectural Periodicals Index. 英国国立建筑图书馆编，以前是印刷出版，现在是网络版。性质与Avery Index相似。免费检索，大家可以用google找到网址，

B1-B3是学生日常常用的工具书，一个学校没有这些工具，就很难推广外建史和当代建筑的知识了。

C. 介绍性的书(比较便宜)

1. Alan Colquhoun, Modern Architecture (Oxford History of Art) 普林斯顿大学教授的书，刚刚出版，浅显宜人。

英国的期刊：AA Files (London)；Journal of Architecture (London)；Architectural Research Quarterly (Cambridge Univ Press)

以上是按照内容的分类做的推荐，以下是按照年级的纵向分类
纵向的：

一年级二年级
1. Rob Krier, Architectural composition; [translated from the German by Romana Schneider and Gabrielle Vorreiter]. 1988. 追求形式主义的启蒙书，嘻嘻。如果找不到这本，可以用Krier在英国Architectural Design 杂志里面发表的Elements of Architecture。(也许上海交大的一年级学生会喜欢)
2. 南大王群先生介绍建构的文章(在A+D杂志里面)。如果觉得这篇太难，可以看看02年12月《世界建筑》里面的Moneo文章，这篇东东也许可以拿来当作建构理论的儿童版吧。
3. Geoffrey H. Baker, Le Corbusier: An Analysis of Form, 1989第二版。
4. 彭一刚先生的《中国古典园林分析》天大图书馆有。
5. 陈从周先生的《中国园林》(广东旅游出版社，1996)、或《园韵》(上海文化出版社，1999)、或《陈从周散文》(花城出版社，1999)、或《陈从周天趣美文》(广东旅游出版社，1999)、或同济院庆出版的陈先生文集。
6. Robert Harbison, Thirteen ways: theoretical investigations in architecture. c1997. (他的其他文集也行)
7. Tafuri的《现代建筑》，如果找不到，Frampton的书也可以拿来将就一下。两本都有中文版。如果能看到Colquhoun的Modern Architecture，就甭看这两本了。Adrian Forty的Words and Buildings: A Vocabulary of Modern Architecture也可以代替Tafuri或Frampton，但是如果可能的话，还是先看Colquhoun为妙。

#1和#2成一对比，对学基本设计有用，利用建构理念批判形式主义。#3和#4成一对比，要弄清楚两个分析方法的异同，推敲一下怎样进行比较。#5和#6成一对比，看看前辈讨论事情的风范，对学习讨论建筑的基本态度有用。

11.Bill Hillier.Space is the Machine:A Configurational Theory of Architecture这本书中国建筑工业出版社出了中译本：《空间是机器——建筑组构理论》，比其更早的姊妹篇The social logic of space也很有价值，但似乎目前没有中文译本，建议购英文原版。

13.Spiro Kostof.The City Assembled:The Elements of Urban Form through History. Thames & Hudson.2005.ISBN: 9780500281727 现在天大图书馆中心馆有它的姊妹书的中文译本:《城市的形成：历史中的城市模式和城市意义》，建筑馆有其中译本《城市的组合——历史进程中的城市形态的元素》。

#1-#3是帮助同学们学习版面设计的，同学们早点关注版面设计的问题，对日后做作品集申请出国有好处。#4提供高层住宅的平面图，平面图的尺度均一，方便比较，是很有参考价值的。同学们如能找到关于国内优秀住宅的书，可以进行比较。#5提供一个连接理念和建筑探索的例子，打破以平面为设计开端的做法，可与上面提到的Architectural composition比较，也可以跟Miralles的作品相比较。Miralles对地形的认识，跟Eisenman对建筑的独立性(autonomy)很不一样。#6-#7成一对，展示了建筑师对大地的认识跟景观界最近的看法有什么异同。#8-#10展示的是对“城市”的不同认识。

总的看来，一二年级和高年级的书单是有些相连之处的。建筑个体和建筑及地形的关系，彭一刚先生的书和当代对“景观和建筑”的关注，等等。关于城市的三本书展示了对建筑言论述的不同态度，可以拿来跟陈从周先生和Harbison的书比较一下。

理查德·帕多万 著，周玉鹏、刘燿辉 译，申祖烈 校。《比例 — 科学·哲学·建筑》。中国建筑工业出版社， 2005。这本书是本科低年级学生应该看看的。

彼得·艾森曼 著， 陈欣欣、何捷 译。《彼得·艾森曼：图解日志》。中国建筑工业出版社， 2005。大四以上学生可以看看这本书，最好先读帕多万的书。

艾伦·科洪 著，刘托 译。《建筑评论－现代建筑与历史变迁》。知识产权出版社，2005。大四以上学生可以看看这本书。

查尔斯·詹克斯、卡尔·克罗普夫 编著，周玉鹏、雄一、张鹏 译，张媛、李雪 校。《当代建筑的理论和宣言》。中国建筑工业出版社， 2005。大四以上学生可以看看这本书。这本书咱们图书馆有，但是很少能在架上见到，建议多买两本。

汉诺-沃尔特·克鲁夫特 著，王贵祥 译。《建筑理论史从——维特鲁威到现在》。中国建筑工业出版社， 2005。这是清华王先生的很了不起的译著，是高年级学生应该看看的，研究生都应该读读。

密斯·凡·德·罗导读系列：
《范斯沃斯住宅》，《湖滨公寓》。以上两本是中国建筑工业出版社2006年出版的图册，信息比较全。

普林斯顿建筑出版社等 编。《材料的处理》。中国建筑工业出版社, 2005。这是介绍美国年轻建筑师的书，想法比较多，呵呵！

莱斯大学建筑学院。《莱姆·库哈斯与学生的对话》。中国建筑工业出版社, 2003。入门的小书。建工出版社出版了一套，还有柯布西耶与学生的对话，等等。

柯林·罗等 著，童明 译。《拼贴城市》。中国建筑工业出版社, 2003。这是同济童先生的译著，是高年级学生应该看看的。天大图书馆有，架上常常能见到。

梅尔 等 著， 王晓俊 译。《园林设计论坛1――现代园林设计与艺术译丛》。东南大学出版社， 2003。这是介绍当代景观设计的一本书，比较基本。
